Liverpool China Partnership (LCP) is an award-wining organisation set up in 2015 to expand Liverpool and the city region's business, academic and civic partnerships with China.

The organisation facili-tates purpose driven relationships with China, and delivers expert guidance and support across civic engagement, trade and investment, health and education, culture and tourism, media and sport.

The services it provides complement the activities of the UK Department for International Trade and other partner organisations.

LCP currently has 20+ member organisations from the public, private, higher education sectors. As well as covering the city region, the partnership has members from the Isle of Man, Cheshire and West Yorkshire.

I have been a passionate supporter of the the Liverpool China Partnership since its formation in 2015 - a legacy borne out of the UK's International Business Festival. My own experience, officially leading many delegations to China and using those links to attract over 200 Chinese delegations to the UK, plus some significant investments here into Liverpool, highlights just how our effective and pioneering our team work has been.

It has been recognised that we have helped create strong friendships and outstanding mutual cooperation between our two great countries. Our networks are extensive and our connections the envy of other global cities.
